I am leaving for Africa the day after tomorrow. I can't wait. I'm a little worried and nervous but I didn't even want to go to New Zealand right before the trip. So I'm sure this will be amazing.

The Decemberists concert was phenomenal. I can't wait for Saleem's ghetto party tonight. The social part of the next month with be awesome...school, not so much. Africa in less that a month and a half!!! Oh my god. And I'm finally off of GDL! Even though I was supposed to be off in October...but w/e.

haha someone broke into my car and tried to steal my stereo unsuccessfully. And stole all of my favorite cds. which makes me angry. but I think it's kind of funny at the same time. Who does that anymore? Car stereos are not stealable. bitches.

I'm really excited. My mom has been mean the past couple days so I guess to make it up to me she took me shopping on state street. Which actually makes me angry because I would rather save the money but it was this or nothing so I might as well. I got a new tie-die shirt from sunshine daydream, a pair of gap skinny jeans, an adorable dress for the summer, I think I found my prom dress but I had to order it so I hope it fits. And these converse only high tops! They have chairs on them.

So today was excellent. I just had a conversation with my mom about not wanting to be a boy...well more I'm not going to end up being trans-gendered. She was comforted. Also, Paris Hilton's mothers name is Kathleen Richards. Also, a man at my mothers work rewrote the words to "Don't you wish your girlfriend was hot like me" to say "don't you wish your girlfriend was hot like maureen." The entire song. It is hilarious and I am bringing it to school tomorrow. and a man came in to puffins and asked me for Monkey masks and told me he is the Dance Police and wears short shorts while carrying around a stereo playing james brown to make sure people are boogying. I think there is more...but I can't think of it right now so umm...Horray for me being happy!
